Itinerary for KL – Solo - Jogja - KL

This was the itinerary dated 14 January 2008, planned for the trip. Since shopping was the main agenda, I was eagerly looking forward to trips to Prambanan, Borobudur, the rest of the candis, the Ramayana dance at Prambanan’s open air hall, the train ride from Solo to Jogja, well, the food and a trip to the late Suharto’s grave in Solo – happens that the trip was during the mourning period of Indonesia’s longest serving president.

Day 1 (Thursday)

• 5:00am LCCT KUL
• 8:30am SOC Airport
• SOLO to Jogja via train from Solobalapan Station to Tugu Station in Jogja
• Transfer to Ibis Malioboro w/o bfast
• Malioboro Street excursion until late (Free n Easy)
• Shopping Malls
• Malioboro Street

• Visit to Museums, monuments, markets (Free n Easy)

• Pasar Gede / Fruit & Flower Market – Durian Feast (Oh la la!)
