Thank God for electricity and no thank you for not making it free!
Selalu bil letrik Kal El tak pernah melebihi RM80 sebulan - pretty much for a small condo with a couple and 7 furry kids + a finsh tank living in it kan? Mana tak, lampu akuarium is on 24/7 and the PC pun sama ahaha apa lagi downloading movies and such ler. Porn? Aahaha lu pikir la sendiri...no la... Kal El baik... konon! We previously had a 2hp aircond kat living room but very seldom used. However, since Kal El mula buat Peritoneal Dialysis kat rumah, we installed another air cond kat the master bedroom - a hp though... So, on working days, the air cond in the room is turned on 2 - 3 times a day. On non working days it's 5 times a day. And no thank you to the hot weather nowadays - kalau Kal El duduk rumah the air cond kat bilik is turned on nearly 24 hours a day and if there are guests the hall aircond is turned on for the duration of the guests' stay. Padan muka aku!
Kal El recently bought a dryer - well, due to the limited drying space of a condo, a dryer seems practical enough but of course it comes with a price - electricity. Sekali jalan maunye sejam dryer tu berpusing. And recently pulak we bought a hot water dispenser... and imaginelah the water keeps boiling and boiling and boiling... nasib baik bila pergi kerja Kal El turn the heater off. Apa lagi? Water heater kat bathroom - aduhhh semuanya pakai letrik! And guess what - our electricity bill from RM80, naik ke RM160 bulan lepas (that's double!) and bulan ni... RM180!
