James Bond 22 - Quantum of Solace

Dalam sakit-sakit, still under hospitalisation mc on Friday Kal El sempat pi ikut KN join office mates dia tengok James Bond terbaru di Midvalley Megamall. It was a company thing where they have outing such as to movies, karaoke, paintball for staff dan yang paling seronok they can bring anyone they want - satu panggung Premiere class telah dibook oleh company KN ni. Seronok, macam ni lah yang aku nak keje. Work seriously, work hard and get rewarded with play. Mungkin I would value a fat bonus more tapi this is better compared to just makan-makan waktu Raya or Puasa like my current company - a secret (I may join this company soon! Tunggu offer letter jer ni heheheh) So, I was there all covered up to try conceal this telinga extra I now have.
KN and I are not really ardent fans of James Bond - even the previous Bond pun kami tak tengok - Casino Royale - so we were here because it's FREE! Ahahaha cheap skate!

Well, my honest opinion - Bond has lost his touch. Tak macam waktu Roger Moore dulu when Bond was at is peak, Daniel Craig I think tak suitable to become a Bond. Tak ada style, not macho enough to hold and sustain the character. Storyline wise, rasanya since ni dah the 22nd instalment, the makers dah takde modal - it's crappy and really dissapointing. Even the opening stunt pun tak menarik and I thought Charlie's Angels opening stunt was so much better. Mungkin becuase KN and I were lost for not watching Casino Royale but Bond has never has two parts too closely related to cause viewers pening lalat kejap. I didn't like the storyline and I definitely didn't like the new Bond. Moreover, i waited for the famous line - I'm Bond, James Bond - It was not in the movie this time - that's a classic, mana boleh tak ada line tu? Or I wasn't paying attention kot? Lagi satu, the Bond girl, hmmm takde anything special about her - nothing to remember pun pasal dia. Apa dah jadi la?

Whatever it is KN and I enjoyed our first experience at the Premiere cinema - very spacious and comfortable seats!

My New Life as a Dialysis Patient

Undergoing dialysis is indeed a big step in our lives, not just mine tapi juga KN's yang affected. This new life memang needs time to adjust and get used to - macam-macam benda yang perlu berubah mostly time and money dan tak lupa juga soal makanan - Walaupun begitu makan pasti tetap makan hehehehe...
One of the things yang berubah is my physical - I am now 26Kgs lighter ( every time pergi dialysis akan berkurangan berat badan) and if my appetitte doesn't change soon - if it doesn't go back to what it was before I will be a jerangkung in no time. I put on nearly 20 Kgs after coming back from Umrah - sebab water retention and losing the weight now - so dah boleh pakai la baju dan seluar lama, siap longgar gila lagi.

Now, there's something I called a 'telinga extra' hanging on my neck - an incision made to insert a tube for dialysis dekat my neck before I get the vascular surgery on my arm done - itu pun will - take about 6 weeks to heal, so meantime ada la something ackward hanging kat my neck - conscious jugak tapi what to do.

As per diet right now, I am avoiding liquid as much as I can. Anything soupy included. Makan pun noi skipping now like i alwyas used to since I was told buat dialysis mesti kene makan. SO full mel every time from now on.

In terms of time, I will have to put aside 3 days a week ( a major adjustment to working time - in which belum ditentukan bagaimana lagi lepas ni - will only know when I go back to work next week.) and 4 hours will have to be spent for dialysis on these 3 days every week.

Financial wise - hmmm major adjustments as I will have to pay for the dialysis which is I think everybody knows very costly. That we'll have to see but whatever it is travel plans yang dah dibuat for next year will have to go on but with some adjustments to it.
Whatever it is I am hoping that life wouldn't be as bad and that things will turn out fine for both KN and I in the times to come.

My 33rd birthday was indeed a pleasant one walaupun dalam kesakitan and in anticipation of perhaps dying after 2 weeks non stop vomiting, very high urea and creatanine level in my body, unable to do anything but lie down most of the time (besides frequent visits to the toilet).

KN bought me a birthday cake - although not the Superman one like I wished for, it was still thoughtful of KN - a sweet little chocolate mousse cake. I also got a pair of Superman t-shirt, a Superman keychain and a sweet birthday card for this person I love so much - thanks sayang. No matter what you're always my super love, forever.

On the day itself, I was invited by my dear best buddies Roy, Shaz and Mahid (who came all the way from Labuan) to lunch but since I was not feeling well, they came to the house instead - a pleasant surprise as I only thought Roy wanted to meet for lunch and didn't know Mahid and Shaz was there. When they were at my house, Shaz called Wan and we spoke on the phone. Later that evening Zurry sent and SMS to wish me Happy Birthday - it was unexpected and the 5 very best friends of mine made my birthday the best this year. They brought me a fruit basket, a bouquet of flowers and Shaz gave two CDs - Beauty and the Beast Original Broadway Musical Recording (that I wanted during the show but sold out) and a Celine Dion Collection CD - I love the gifts and appreciate your visit guys.

Ka'ngah gave me RM100 and Sapit a Sleep Better Pillow. Arif and along gave me a 'devil' bolster that is very cute. Unfortunetaly papa I think has forgotten to wish me - tapi tak apa lah, as long as th others remembered - furthermore he was the one who gave me this life.
