Sempena tahun baru 2011 ini, Syahr El mendoakan agar kita semua terus maju sebagai sebuah negara, komuniti dan individu. Harapan Syahr El agar rakyat Malaysia akan meningkatkan kesedaran mereka terhadap keperluan di kalangan komuniti OKU terutamanya soal accessibility dan juga ruang parkir yang selalu diambil oleh orang-orang bukan golongan OKU. Semoga Tuhan memberikan mereka ini yang mencabuli hak golongan OKU perasaan malu untuk menggunakan sesuatu yang bukan hak mereka.

Perfume Lagi!

Hehehe memang menggila kalau pi Metrojaya warehouse sale. Perfume 3 kotak yang Syahr El beli kat Metrojaya warehouse sale kat Midvalley few months back belum pun bukak lagi dan today TERbeli lagi 4 kotak. 5 sebenarnya sebab 1 set Moschino Glamour dengan eu de parfum (EdP) , miniature, shower gel and body lotion telah dihadiahkan kepada adik Amir.

Hmmm entah bila la nak guna perfume perfume ni ya? Kali ni Syahr El beli Just Me for men by Paris Hilton, Ferrari Light Essence, D&G L'amoureux No6 dan Guess by Marciano. Selain Perfume ada la beli sepasang seluar panjang Cape Cod, Wallet, Dvd, Bantal Akemi dan juga Jigsaw Puzzle Superman!

The Best Birthday Ever!

Alhamdulillah, umur Syar El menhangkau 25(+10) tahun ini. Muda lagi heheheh. Alhamdulillah atas segala nikmat yang Allah telah berikan walaupun terlalu banyak dugaan yang terpaksa Syahr El tempuhi tapi insyaAllah semuanya Syahr El tempuhi dengan tabah, moga mendapat keberkatan dan keredhaan dari Allah SWT.

Alhamdulillah juga dalam keadaan Syahr El cacat, masih dan makin ramai yang sayangkan Syahr El. Sungguh sebak rasa hati apabila hampir 100 orang yang mengucapkan dan mendoakan kebaikan sempena hari lahir Syahr El di Facebook. Syahr El bersyukur dengan adanya Facebook ramai kawan-kawan lama, juga dari kalangan rakan sekolah rendah yang dapat dikumpulkan semula. Sesungguhnya Facebook banyak kebaikan jika digunakan dengan betul, terutamanya untuk mengikat dan merapatkan silaturrahim. Ada kalanya adik beradik yang jauh juga dapat dirapatkan dengan Facebook.

Syahr El bukan nak bercakap tentang kebaikan atau keburukan Facebook tapi dengan channel inilah ramai kawan-kawan lama dapat dihubungi, Alhamdulillah.

Sempena hari lahir Syahr El tahun ini, sememangnya the very best of all celebrations, Syahr El telah diraikan rakan-rakan sekolah rendah 4 hari lebih awal semasa kami berkumpul di News KTV. Terima kasih atas kejutan (macam Akademi Fantasia lah pulak ada kejutan) but I was really overwhelmed and thankful for the remembrance. Thank you Azli, Abby, Rose, Aidah, Jimmy, Nazir, Amir n my very best friend from primary school, Bakhlis.

Syahr El juga dapat menyambut hari lahir di Avillion Port Dickson. Dah lama teringin nak tidur di resort terapung di Port Dickson ini. Alhamdulillah impian Syahr El dapat dilaksanakan akhirnya walaupun selama satu malam tetapi satu malam itulah yang amat menggembirakan. Alhamdulillah.

Di Port Dickson juga Syahr El bertemu rakan lama semasa di universiti, Aleen. Di situ juga kami bertemu suaminya, Fared dan ibu mertuanya di restoran ikan bakar mereka. Alhamdulillah, hari lahir Syahr El disambut dengan birthday lunch di situ. Terima kasih Aleen, Fared dan Mak.

Juga dalam minggu sebelum dan selepas hari lahir, Syahr El dapat bertemu dan bersuka-ria bersama rakan-rakan karib Syahr El dari universiti. Kami telah bersama sejak zaman matrikulasi (maksudnya sudah 17 tahun kami bersama) Teteapi kami hanya dapat bersama sebahagian daripada kumpulan kami; Wan Irham, Mahid, dan Roy. Shazril dan Zurry tak dapat bersama kerana mereka jauh.

Syahr El juga dapat bertemu Yaya dan Iza di Bangsar, mereka di antara teman rapat Syahr El semasa di universiti dulu.

Selama waktu Syahr El dewasa ini, memang tak pernah hari lahir disambut semeriah ini. Selalunya hari lahir Syahr El jatuh pada hari cuti hujung minggu ataupun pada hari cuti umum (Deepavali) heheheheh tapi takpa, hari lahir Syahr El selama ini disambut dengan keluarga yang Syahr El sayangi.

Apa yang Syahr El rindukan adalah sambutan hari lahir bersama Allahyarhammah ibu Syahr El yang hari jadinya sehari sebelum Syahr El. Moga Allah mencucuri rahmat dan keberkatan ke atas roh beliau dan menerima segala amalaannya semasa mummy hidup dulu. Amin.

Kepada rakan-rakan di Facebook, terima kasih atas ingatan kalian. Moga Allah melindungi kalian selalu, insyaAllah. Amin.

JCard Day @ AEON Setiawangsa

Hari ni Kal El pi JCard day kat AEON Setiawangsa AU2. Baru last week pergi yang kat Midvalley punya. Gatal je tangan nak kuar duit. Tapi Kal El beli barang yang perlu dan digunakan. Bukan membeli baju baju pun tapi cadar, bantal, grocery dan lain lain lagi. Yang Kal El suka JCard day ni ialah rebatesnye dan still boleh collect points for future voucher redemption. Baloi? Memang berbaloi. Gambar - kal El mengenakan salah satu uniform untuk bershopping.

Hard Rock Hotel Penang Here We Come!

Yeay i.can't wait for our 3 days 2 nights stay at Hard Rock Hotel Penang. This long due vacation will be near the end of November. Mula-mula nak pergi during my birthday in early November tapi Amir nak ajak family dia so the trip will have tp be during the achool holidays. My Wednesday dialysis routine nanti will be at Penang General Hospital (tumpang sehari). Harap-harap there wont be any hindrance this time as I am in great need of a vacation right now. Hotel dah book bopefully Kal El sihat pada waktu tu. Takmo jadi macam plan nak ke Medan Indonesia dulu Kal El masyk hospital pulak. Habis rugi flight ticket nasib baik belum book hotel lagi masa tu. InsyaAllah everyhing will be fine this tume. Amin.

I'm a Happy Man

Alhamdulillah syukur pada Allah i've been very happy lately. Not because my problems are solved khususnya perihal adik beradik Kal El dan sebagainya tapi kini hati Kal El rasa begitu lapang, tenang dan ceria.

I've let my heart out pasal hal keluarga pada papa and it's up to my siblings to accept my feelings or otherwise. Kal El sudah tidak mengharapkan apa-apa dari mereka and it's up to them if they want to visit me or take care of me afterall. Kal El redha dengan apa pun yang mereka fikir dan lakukan. Cuma Kal El harap jika Kal El mati nanti mereka akan dengan ikhlas menguruskan jenazah Kal El. Itu saja.

Kalau cakap soal kecil hati memang Kal El amat kecil hati terutamanya bila papa menceritakan apa yang adik Kal El katakan tentang abangnya dan sms bertubi-tubi dari kakak Kal El listing down my mistakes dalam melayan keluarga walaupun mereka tak tahu perkara sebenar dan tak sedar akan kesilapan mereka sendiri, Kal El maafkan mereka dunia dan akhirat. InsyaAllah.

Jujurnya Kal El amat sayangkan keluarga Kal El dan tak mahu keluarga yang sememangnya kecil bertelagah tapi dalam keadaan Kal El yang cacat ni biarlah mereka yang cukup sifat menentukan hala tuju hidup mereka dan silaturrahim kami. Sememangnya Kal El tak pernah dan tak akan berdendam pada sesiapa.

Bagi Kal El saki baki hidup ni yang penting kebahagiaan dan ketenangan diri. Tak perlu menyusahkan kepala dan hati memaksa dan menagih simpati dan kasih sayang dari mereka yang tak sudi. Bagi mereka yang membaca entry ini harap doakanlah kebahagiaan dan ketenangan yang Kal El rasa kini berpanjangan sehingga ke akhir hayat.

Bagi keluarga yang mungkin terbaca entry ni Kal El minta maaf jika apa yang Kal El catatkan di sini membuka pekung di dada sendiri. Sesungguhnya ini adalah luahan hati yang jujur lagi ikhlas. Ketahuilah yang Kal El menyayangi kalian seikhlas hati. InsyaAllah.

Ms Livvy @ 40000 km

Ms Livvy telah diservis major hari ini. Kesian Amir duk kat service center Nissan Batu Kep tu from 10 am till 6pm. At 40000km servicing costs RM1.5k. Next service kene tukar timing belt and service air cond pulak (garu kepala) heheheh.

Tu nampak tak sticker OKU besar gedabak tu. Kereta ni dah modify for leg free driving tapi Kal El masih takut nak drive kaki tak jejak lantai. Harus tangan macam sotong kurita nak control everyrhing at one go. Gerun lah tapi insyaAllah ill be driving again one day.

Spotted!

Look who we came accross on the highway near Tropicana. It's our old Perodua Kelisa. Kereta ni banyak berjasa time kami susah dulu dan banyak memori indah bersamanya. Hilang rindu kami padanya.

The Trio

 As promised in the previous entry, here are the three things I bought from Metrojaya's Warehouse Sale at Midvalley Megamall. Three bottles of perfumes that would probably last one or two years (i use perfume everyday even when at home) So, they are Ferrari's Uomo (to replace the one that was stolen when I was in PPUM), Givenchy's Very Irresistable and a Banana Republic's Republic of Men.

Tony Roma's @ The Gardens

Record breaking this past week as Amir and I, kitorang merayap from one shopping complex to another every single day of the week. Tak kira la hari tu ada dialysis ke tidak, hentam je pergi. Today like the previous Friday we were at Midvalley Megamall and The Gardens for lunch and a little jalan-jalan. We had the lunch set at Tony Roma's. It was delicious and definitely filling. Keluar kedai masing-masing perut bentak dan kekenyangan.

Amir had the Chicken and Beef Bacon Sandwich with Honey Mustard, a huge serving of fries and what I love most the pickle! For drinks he had Iced Lemon Tea and together with the set comes Onion Soup.

I had the Big Stack Burger with extra Beef Bacon and lots and lots of creamy mustard with Light Coke and Onion Soup.

After lunch we went to the Metrojaya Sale at the MIVEC Exhibition Hall and guess what we bought? I'll tell you in the next entry ok?

A Treat for MYSELF

Hah dah seminggu ni KalEl asik shopping aja. Bolehkatakan hari-hari la ada saja yang dibeli. Kal El kemaruk shopping ni kerana kebosanan agaknya. Bila dapat jalan-jalan dan beli itu ini rasa seronok walaupun boleh dikatakan perilaku ni boros dan membazir. Takpalah sekali sekala nak menggembirakan hati.

Hari ini Kal El ke Parkson di KLCC membeli minyak wangi. Cuba berbagai jenama dan bau-bauan tapi sangkut plak kat Feragamo Black ni. Ada gak Bvulgari yang amat menarik bauan musky woodnya tapi hehehe satu-satu dululah Kal El ya. Ikut hati mati, semuanya pun nak beli.

Sebelum tu Kal El ke Hospital Ampang untuk renal appointment. Dua hari lepas ke tempat sama untuk eye appointment dan semalam pula juga di Hospital Ampang untuk ortho appointment.

Alhamdulillah mata Kal El ok cuma kene pakai reading glasses (yup mcm orang tua), ortho wise kene pi rehab aka physio pada 27 Oktober.Rena pun ok tapi kene buat blood transfusion sebanyak 4 pint masa dialysis nanti sebab hemoglobin agak rendah.

Alhamdulillah semuanya stabil sebab tu lah Kal El happy and treated myself to a bottle of perfume today (alasan!)

How's This for a Permanently New Look?

Ahahahah this was taken on March 21, 2010 when I was home for that 2 days after being discharged from HKL and before being readmitted to Ampang Hospital the next day.

So, what do you think of this new look? Hebatkan? I was amazed at how brave I was to let Amir shave my head bald (actually I thought he was shampooing my hair until I realized the shampoo smells rather funny) This was actually the first time in my whole 34 years of life I've shaven my head bald.

Should I keep it this way permanently next time or I look better with hair? There was never a bald Superman before. This is more a Lex Luthor kinda thingy! I personally think I look like an alien... so burooookkk one with that round egg shaped head of mine lah.

Seriously I look funny right? Yes I think I do look kinda funny like the aliens in the 1990s Coneheads.

So, it's a No No for me!

Pindah Lagi...Ada Pencurikkkk!!!

Tak... bukan pindah rumah tapi pindah wad. Sepanjang kat PPUM ni dalam masa seminggu dah 3 kali pindah bilik and now pindah wad pulak. I was sent 1 floor down to Wad Perubatan 1 from Wad Perubatan 2. Reason being - I dunno maybe I am no longer in the critical stage and need not close observation agaknya. Well, any moving around is good for me (so that I wouldn't be stuck at one place for too long; change of view, people and environment).

So instead of having to move to a new room, I was moved to a new ward in PPUM - just one floor down but I never cared to ask why - well, after three months in the hospital you'd never care less as long as the place is comfy and you'll have the privacy you need - I am now in the same one bedded room, air conditioned (thank good and it's cold like freezer in here) a huge bathroom but still am stuck on the bed. Sigh...

Tapi bukan tu nak citer ni. This entry is about some dishonest person who sempat tibai (curik) my Ferrari Uomo perfume given by my one true love as a get well gift. Dah tak dapek den nak melaram mewangi-wangikan diri di dalam spital ni.

I was sent to the new ward half hour before midnight and since I could barge from my bed, the nurses and the ward attendant helped me to pack my things and send them down. Again sebab my butt is so stuck on the bed, I could not check if everything was in. Nak dijadikan cerita early the next morning, the new ward nurse put three small plastic bags on my bed saying that thpse were just sent my the old ward - laaaa barang-barang dalam laci tak ambil semalam... hampeh tul and when I went through my things - rahhhhh! the Ferrari Uomo was not there! The only thing missing.

So, I called the nurse yang hantar the plastic bags tadi and she insisted that was all that was being sent. I asked her to check with the old ward (since it was only a few minutes before her shift ends) she refused. Luckily KN came right after and KN went upstairs to ask the nurse yang hantar my things tadi - she insisted that there was no perfume in the drawer. Laaaaa takkan perfume tu jalan sendiri kot?

I was so upset yesterday, not because the perfume was expensive but it was a gift from someone i cared most. Memang la sapa yang mencurik tu tak senang duduk la dia nanti and I hope if he or she uses the perfume it will be the most busuk smell he or she has ever encountered dan melekatlah sampai dia mati sekali pun. Ni doa orang teraniaya nih... geramnye!

Bye Bye 2009, Hello 2010!

What have I gone through in 2009? - Hell

1. I've gotten a better job at a better place with a better pay.
2. I've also managed to survive with one leg.
3. I went through 8 months of 4 hourly CAPD treatment and had to go back to hemodialysis because of CAPD failure (yucks hate that but what to do lah?)
4. Got admitted to the hospital many times like never before in my whole 34 years of life.
5. I've known to appreciate the person I love most in life.
6. I've got to know whom I can depend on.
7. I also got to know not to trust someone too much because the risk of being hurt is intolerable.
8. I've owned a better car, something I really like and appreciate.
9. My health deteriorates each day I am given the chance to continue living but I am living each day happily (kalau tak happy pun sendiri buat-buat happy. Well, you live once and you will end up being alone no matter how many friends you have around you - ingat, dalam kubur tu sorang-sorang je tau) so there's no point of being or showing u're unhappy.
10. I have also become very sensitive, grumpy at times and a little selfish but selfish bertempat I'm pretty sure.
11. My body is being cut and poked here and there like a fish on a chopping board.
12. I've learned to keep my depression and disappointment to myself.
13. I realised that things planned aren't necessarily going to materialize, even if you've paid for it (e.g. the canceled Sulawesi and Medan trip, sigh)
14. I am reunited with a long lost best friend, Bakhlis, through Facebook.
15. I received an iPhone from my darling. Yay!
16. I got to own more Superman apparels. Yay!
17. I had to sell Mr. Kelly (Sob..sob...)
18. I had a 'visit' from arwah mummy somewhere in November and
19. I had lost another leg 8 days before my 34th birthday.


What I hope to accomplish in 2010?

1. To be more independent
2. To continue working so that I can pay off my debts
3. To save money for rainy days
4. To love when loved. To give when given.
5. To appreciate the person(s) who appreciates me
6. To have a new pair of Baju Melayu for Aidilfitri - the same color as my darling's
7. To learn to live with hemodialysis and the fact that I may have to be warded many more times this year
8. To succeed in claiming for the MRTA insurance so that one burden will be lifted off my shoulders
9. To go for a domestic vacation
10. To own many more Superman apparels (heheheheh kaya la Metrojaya sebab ni)

Dah cukup ler tu... 10 je. Yang lain simpan dalam hati dulu ek... ada rezeki ada ler...

Alvin and The Chipmunks 2 n Chili's KLCC

It was an exciting night - yep, especially after not going to the movies for a very long while - our last was GI Joe for the department's outing - and that was a couple or maybe three or four months back. It looks like we have to postpone my plans for a cuti-cuti Malaysia for the time being for a couple of factors. One, we're saving or our Siem Reap trip end of January 2010 and two, it is the end of the year, most highways would be jammed packed and of course we wouldn't want to waste our time on the road. I guess those are a couple of valid reasons. Hmmm I'm actually planning a surprise Penang trip to Hard Rock Hotel for February next year. Menarik tuh!

Alvin and the Chipmunks

So because of the postponement of our domestic trip to February next year, I would've to settle and be happy with little treats like going to the movies. Jadik la....

The Chipmunks and The Chipettes (The Cartoon Series)

It was Alvin and the Chipmunks and of course like the first installment of my all time favorite cartoon series when I was a kid (the first movie was better and funnier, I think!) we both enjoyed and laughed out loud especially when the female chipmunks were introduced as 'The Chippets' - somehow it brings a dirty meaning to those who understand what Chipet means hehehehe. (If you don't know gofind out) - well, when we were kids our minds were not as corrupted to even think the group's name sounded dirty... ish...ish...ish...naughty us! Overall, the movie was fun- who wouldn't enjoy the cute voices of The Chipmunks and The Chippets?

To note that was the first time I went to the movies on a wheelchair. TGV (at least at KLCC) is OKU friendly as they had ramps to the movie houses and they have seats specially for OKUs.

Before the movies we had dinner at Chili's. Heheheheh mana lagi kalau tak kat situ kan bila dah ke KLCC. I had the Cajun Ribeye Steak and KN had what else, the Country Fried Chicken. For starters seperti biasa, menu wajib - Nachos but this time with added Fajita Beef - hmmmm Chili's menu seems to change quite frequently lately ni... kejap-kejap lain and honestly I miss some of their old line up.
