We were at our favourite Nasi Padang restaurant again last night, where else, Restoran Puti Bungsu Batam at Jalan Yap Kwan Seng. The food was as always, fantastic and affordable for Nasi Padang. Tonight, we ordered the usual must; bergedil, ayam goreng, daging rendang, kuah ayam, sambal hijau and telur sambal ala lado. For drinks we both had the ice blended sour sop. Sedappppnyeeee!

Sour Sop Ice BlendedYet, the best Nasi Padang we've ever had so far was during our recent trip to Solo. The place was actually a roadside stall, real small and only lit by candles nearby our hotel but the taste was really superb and definitely cheaper than what we can expect here.
